Terms of Service

  1. About Us

    Stoatly Ltd is a private limited company registered in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom (Companies House number: NI741169). Our registered office is Office 1832 92 Castle Street, Belfast, United Kingdom, BT1 1HE. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Stoatly platform, accessible at app.stoatly.io.


  2. Acceptance of Terms

    By creating an account or using Stoatly, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the studio you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.


  3. The Service

    Stoatly provides a web-based SaaS platform for game studios to define, manage, and publish game data through Git-backed workflows. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.


  4. Accounts

    • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
    • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access


  5. Subscriptions and Billing

    • Stoatly is offered on a monthly subscription basis
    • Billing occurs on the same data each month from the date of first subscription
    • Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing you also agree to Paddle's terms of service
    • Prices may change within 30 days written notice to your registered email address
    • Failure to pay will result in suspension of your account


  6. Usage Limits

    Stoatly enforces usage limits based on your subscription tier. Current limits are:

    • Lite: 100 object types per project, 1,000 records per object type
    • Pro: Unlimited as described on our pricing page
    We will not silently exceed or modify these limits without notice.


  7. Cancellation and Data Retention

    • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
    • Your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period
    • Following cancellation or subscription lapse, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted
    • Following cancellation or subscription lapse, we do not modify or delete any data in your connected data repositories. That data remains entirely under your control.


  8. Refunds

    We offer a refund of your most recent monthly payment if you are unsatisfied with the service and request it within 30 days of that payment. Refund requests should be sent to support@stoatly.io. We reserve the right to apply discretion in cases of abuse of this policy.


  9. Intellectual Property

    • Stoatly and all associated software, design, and content is owned by Stoatly Ltd
    • You retain full ownership of all data, schemas, and content you create within the platform
    • You grant Stoatly Ltd a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service


  10. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
    • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
    • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
    • Use the platform to store or transmit malicious code
    • Resell or sublicense access to the platform without our written consent


  11. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stoatly Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.


  12. Service Availability

    We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.


  13. Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.


  14. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that dat consitutes acceptance.
